  1. It would be great to be able to link tasks to the stages of an opportunity. Opportunities with tasks has the possibility to create a wonderful roadmap; however, not all stages take the same amount of time to be accomplished. When fostering relationships or solicitating money, these opportunities are dependent on each individual experience, independent of each other. While one relationship may take days, another may take months or even years.   2. Currently, the ? icon for the "sponsored org" field indicates this is the vendor the check will be made out to. We're having trouble making that work when giving to a group with a fiscal sponsor, though this is the field we've been directed to use for those situations. The check needs to be made out to the fiscal sponsor, since that's the legal entity, but it makes no sense to put the sponsor in the "Sponsored Org" field, since it's the opposite of that.   3. The checks can now be GROUPED in different ways, and you can sort the vouchers in different ways, but when the check run is created, they do not stay in the sort order. The check run isn't in any order that makes sense to me now.

  4. Can a function be created to sync a new Csuite campaign into an already existing Mailchimp tag? Right now, a new Mailchimp tag has to be created for each Csuite campaign causing clutter in Mailchimp. For reoccurring newsletters, having the option to sync individual campaigns into the same tag would be very helpful.

  5. Taking this archived idea back up: It would be great if the fund history page showed the fund balance as of a specific date. This is a great page for our advancement team and with the addition of the balance, everything they want to have at hand when talking with a donor about their fund would be on the same page.

  6. It would great if for ticketed events we had the option to require guest information or not. We often see individuals buy tickets but skip the part about adding their guests information. It becomes quite difficult the day of the event to know who is coming with that guest, especially if they do not arrive to the event at the same time and haven't been instructed by the ticket purchaser to mention they are they guest of so and so.

  7. It would be nice to have the ability to apply a percentage or dollar amount of a donation to the spendable and the remainder to the endowed portion. We have some funds that have been setup this way but currently the donation has to be entered as two separate donations in order to achieve the split.

  8. Thank you for adding Tasks to individual Profiles! Can you please make ALL TASKS visible on a profile regardless of who created or the assigned person? It's helpful to see all past due/current/future tasks on a profile regardless of who they are assigned to.

  9. The payment date for grants should automatically become the check date. It doesn't make sense for the payment date to be the date it was entered and causes confusion with donors wondering why organizations haven't received checks when the payment date is before the grant date and/or before the date checks are run.

  10. We just realized that when we pull fund statements, the grantee for internal grants is listed as our Foundation rather than the destination funds. We want the donors to know their grants went into the correct funds, so we'll have to hand write the destination funds on all the paper statements. It would be great if fund statements could name the destination funds for internal grants.

  12. There are numerous reports that can be customized when you go to the Reports section. I do not see any for creating financial statements. It would be great if you could add more than one column option to a report. Currently we are copying and pasting exported reports to build our desired reports. We have to export 12 financial reports to get to the 6 we want.

  13. We would like an option for changes to households to populate/update the individual profiles linked to that household.

    Now, when we make an address change or a change to Profile Types for a household profile, we must make the same changes to each individual profile linked to that household - in other words, we often must make the same exact edit on three or more profiles.

  15. When printing multiple page financial reports, we need to have the column headings print at the top of the column on each page for ease of reading. It is impossible to know what each column is for once you print more than one page.

    For example, if I print an fund audit report for multiple funds, you cannot tell what the columns on the second page are reporting.

  17. Often when Foundant support is unable to help with a situation due to product limitations, they'll suggest that I submit it to the Idea Lab. I understand that I have a vested interest and want to see the product improve, but sometimes I'm in a state of doing my best to get work completed.   18. One of the most limiting things about using Foundant is the lack of connectivity to other platforms that we all use. Even in cases where there is some integration (like with MailChimp) that integration is extremely limited.

    I found those ideas all via one quick search in the Idea Lab for the word "integrate." I bet there are many other requests that could also be solved this way.

  20. Bring back the ability to pull all fund statements for funds under a specific fund advisor. Previous to the revamp of the fund statement workflow, there was an ability to select the Fund Statement ID for the specific month or quarter and to select "Print Individual." We could then generate a PDF file of all fund statements for that time period associated with a particular fund advisor. There is no way to do this in the new workflow, but we constantly have fund advisors calling and requesting all the fund statements for their funds. For those fund advisors managing more…
