  1. The checks can now be GROUPED in different ways, and you can sort the vouchers in different ways, but when the check run is created, they do not stay in the sort order. The check run isn't in any order that makes sense to me now.

  2. Can a function be created to sync a new Csuite campaign into an already existing Mailchimp tag? Right now, a new Mailchimp tag has to be created for each Csuite campaign causing clutter in Mailchimp. For reoccurring newsletters, having the option to sync individual campaigns into the same tag would be very helpful.

  3. Taking this archived idea back up: It would be great if the fund history page showed the fund balance as of a specific date. This is a great page for our advancement team and with the addition of the balance, everything they want to have at hand when talking with a donor about their fund would be on the same page.

  4. Send one Donation Notify and Grant Notify email per day summarizing gift activity or grant activity for that fund that day rather than, in some cases, dozens of transactional emails.

  5. It would add so much to our internal workflow if permissions allowed us to specify access to custom fields on each record type. For example, we track succession plans as a custom field on the fund record. Our fund liaisons want to be able to edit those selections if/when a fundholder changes them. However we cannot give them access to edit the custom field on the fund record without them having full access to edit a fund record (which we do not want).

  6. Wouldn't it be so cool if we could select a preferred method of contact for donors, grantees, etc. as a default profile question instead of having to make a custom profile field? I think so. Please vote for this idea.

  7. It would be very beneficial if there were column views on ALL of the financial reports. There are column views on the balance sheet and income statement.... but can it please be integrated in the trial balance and detail trial reports? There are certain reports we ran and need from FIMS that we could get exactly what we wanted if we had this option.

    The reports we are pulling now in place of it have way too much information on there that is not needed. If I can pull a detail trial with certain accounts selected then have a column…

  8. It would be helpful to have the Bank Rec report pop up immediately upon reconciliation, rather than have to go back into the history report to print. I have never seen a system that did not do that. Also, we should be able to print a rec for a month in which there was no activity, to still show proper balances for current months.

  9. We just realized that when we pull fund statements, the grantee for internal grants is listed as our Foundation rather than the destination funds. We want the donors to know their grants went into the correct funds, so we'll have to hand write the destination funds on all the paper statements. It would be great if fund statements could name the destination funds for internal grants.

  10. I would love to be able to set a default "no grant document" by fund or fund type and then have a choice at grant letter to turn off the letter like we can for award letter. It is tedious to find and delete attached grant letters to grants that do not require letters. In our case, we do not send letters with grants that come in from GLM. I understand I can turn it off by check batch, but that means I need to sort out which grants are which at the time of the check run each time…

  11. Admin Fees should not make a fund balance negative. The situation we recently had was that a fund was set for closure, the final grant had been made and the balance was $0. However, the fund had not yet officially been closed in Csuite (we wait for the final check to clear.) Quarterly Admin Fees were posted which included this fund. It then made the fund balance negative. It seems an alert should pop that there are not sufficient balance to cover the fee. .....and yes, ideally we should remove the admin fee type on a fund when it is…

  12. One of the most limiting things about using Foundant is the lack of connectivity to other platforms that we all use. Even in cases where there is some integration (like with MailChimp) that integration is extremely limited.

    I found those ideas all via one quick search in the Idea Lab for the word "integrate." I bet there are many other requests that could also be solved this way.

  13. In the checks module, when there are checks in the new check bucket, it would be helpful to have a total of all checks in the bucket on that screen. Additionally, when you click into a given batch of checks (regardless of which bucket it's in), it would be helpful to have a batch total appear on that screen as well.

  14. Bring back the ability to pull all fund statements for funds under a specific fund advisor. Previous to the revamp of the fund statement workflow, there was an ability to select the Fund Statement ID for the specific month or quarter and to select "Print Individual." We could then generate a PDF file of all fund statements for that time period associated with a particular fund advisor. There is no way to do this in the new workflow, but we constantly have fund advisors calling and requesting all the fund statements for their funds. For those fund advisors managing more…

  15. It would be helpful if an "Open Opportunity" pop up notification comes up when entering a donation. Just how Open Pledges show up when entering a donation for a profile that has an open pledge (picture). This would an amazing feature, especially if there's over 100 opportunities created.

  16. Past users sometimes create Opportunity/Note/Task types that are no longer useful to current staff. Please create an option to make those types "Inactive" rather than simply deleting them - we may want to keep the historic data in CSuite, but NOT on the Drop down list. It would help to clean things up and streamline categories.

  17. I just logged into my personal Donation/Fund Portal using my Google Pixel 8 and it does not look good. Many of the fields are overlapping and cannot be read properly. Please update/modify for responsive use, it's not built taking this into consideration.

  18. For numeric fields in a custom report there is currently a "Total Column" checkbox option to total the data from all rows in that column. The total will display in a new row at the bottom of the column.

    We'd like the same thing but with the option for Average, Min, Max, Count, etc. Those are only possible now by grouping and removing all other fields. We end up with the calculated value but can't see any of the individual records or details. We can get what we need in Excel by exporting and adding a formula but would like…

When individuals unsubscribe from Mailchimp emails, it is impossible to discern if they want to unsubscribe just from marketing/ communication emails and who should just simply be marked "do not email". If Foundant could add choices on emails that indicates something to the effect of, "Marketing Emails" and/or "Foundation business" as boxes to check as options, similar to "mailing" or "inactive" for mailing addresses, that would be very helpful. Currently, if someone unsubscribes from a MailChimp blast, there is no way to realistically remove that person from marketing email blasts unless you go 1-by-1 and remove them from every campaign…

  20. Our foundation manages certain donor-initiated events and fundraisers where the ticket buyers are not great at adding the Profile Campaign Ticket Guests after they check out. Please make it it possible to update the RSVP list in bulk or make the Profile Campaign Ticket Guests mandatory to be filled out before check out. This would be such a time saver.
